Can I use CMS to link a collection (A) to another specific collection (B)'s post? Without having to manually copy and paste the link.

If I’m understanding you correctly, yes I think you can.
Example:
If you’re using say, a multi reference field to tag posts with the same category, you can then use the collection list settings on each template page to also show thumbnails for more relevant content, tagged with the same reference field.
