Urgent Help - big issue with double WWW after weeks of working fine

Hey,

I have no idea what is going on. Everything was working fine for WEEKS. I didn’t changed anything on the setup. But them, today, out of nowhere, the domain stoped working and webflow is adding a double www (like www.www…)

Everything is down because of that, I have ads running. And I can’t find support with Webflow.

How can I talk with proper support???

We got the same error, affecting all client pages.
Everyone seems to have this problem.

I am having the exact same problem with every published site.
when I publish them with “.webflow.io” it works, but none with their custom domains!? This just happened all of a sudden.

I am guessing that this is a problem with webflow.

Please help someone!

Oh s***. They will give us $$ credits for the money we lost on the ads??

I just noticed these Advanced publishing options for the first time. Is this a new update causing this issue?

If anyone knows anything about this, I would appreciate your help!

It’s crazy that a staff don’t come to reply and no one get on the live support. I’m starting to be very afraid to be using Webflow.

I have the same problem with my personal website and with my client ones.

I have noticed that any site uploaded to a custom domain and created with webflow reports the same problem of www.www in the URL bar.

www.university.webflow.com doesn’t work.

I realised this because I corrected an error in the text on my client’s website. I then republished it and noticed this problem. Until before republishing the website via webflow, the site was displaying perfectly, perhaps because it was cached.

Please let us know what is happening.

The problem happens only when accessing webflow websites from Europe. Other regions (North America, Asia, South America, etc.) are unaffected.

Looks like the webflow Frankfurt AWS region is misbehaving.

SAME PROBLEM HERE SINCE 12PM UTC+2

Website redirected to www.www

thank you so much! I asked people in Brazil to test, and it’s working.

I’m running ads in the US, so this is good – I can wait Europe got back.

Update:

Webflow´s university site seem to work now, but not any of mine.
I live in sweden so I am still affected with this problem :frowning:

I can see from our monitoring dashboards the Frankfurt (Germany) is returning status 200 the last 13 minutes. However, from where I am (SouthEastern Europe) I’m still getting the misconfigured redirection:

host www...
www... is an alias for proxy-ssl.webflow.com.
proxy-ssl.webflow.com is an alias for proxy-ssl-geo.webflow.com.
proxy-ssl-geo.webflow.com has address 52.17.119.105
proxy-ssl-geo.webflow.com has address 34.249.200.254
proxy-ssl-geo.webflow.com has address 63.35.51.142

Looks like the’re rolling out a fix and either needs to be propagated(?) (cache cleared and what not).
