Removing unpublished changes in the Editor

Hey Folks. Any update here?

I’m having the same question, and it doesn’t seem there’s a solution yet. If so, would someone please enlighten me?

Also looking for this feature. It’s absolutely doing my head in. Any updates from the Webflow team? Is it on the product roadmap? Very keen for an update!

@MickeyBowen - At this time there is no other way then to handle this operationally. @Keren_Phillips - Webflow rarely discusses future development aside from open betas.

Easy. I just did it by restoring from a back up 8 days old in site settings.

It is possible, I just did it with my last published site which was 8 days old.

I’ve made a client pay $280 for a website with no undo feature.

Yes, that’s not great… Please vote for this feature here to increase the chances Weblfow takes care of this

Why is this still not a thing, I’m not an admin on the site but a contributor/editor so I cant trigger a site restore, I’ve changed one link and now have a error in a duplicate div over the menu items - we have an important update to site needed today and I can’t just scrap that change and re-edit.

This is a vital function missing.

I’ll just chip in my 2 cents to keep this on the radar of the Webflow team/community. Let’s make sure this kind of basis functionality is in place before new endeavors to unknown low-code territory… Had the same experience as others above and in the wishlist, having to explain to the client that this isn’t possible, felt quite unprofessional and a stain on the beautiful and superfast editing possibilities that Webflow offers for clients.

Unfortunately, people typically only discover this issue after deploying on the platform. I have this as a list item in an internal “what you can’t do with Webflow” document I reference during the discovery/requirements phase. The problem is that the list is long, and items seem to stay on it forever.

Very good idea, will start doing that as well.

OMG Webflow… this is absurd. It is 2024 and there is no proper Undo / Discard Changes still?

@webdev would you perchance have a link to said document you would be willing to share? I inherited a Webflow project and it is a complete nightmare. I am looking to get them to move to a more functional CMS because Webflow is killing me…

@aikirk - I don’t maintain a list at this time as I only choose to use Webflow for simple marketing sites and opt for other platforms when building more sophisticated sites.

Crazy to thing that it’s been 6 years and this hasn’t been added yet.

Looks like its time to find an alternative from a careless company that doesn’t listen to their customers

Right! Absolutely ridiculous. Wish I knew all the outdated nonsense of Webflow before we left WordPress.
