Problem updating payment info

Been trying to update the payment info for our hosting plan, but I always only get “We encountered an issue! Try again.” error message.
Anyone else experience this? If so what did you do to fix it?

I have contacted support, the AI chatbot is absolutely no help, but I have not gotten any response. If we can’t get it updated our site will go down in 10 days.

I have of course done that, I have sent a video of the problem aswell. But all i get in return are «i understand» and links to unhelpful guides.

I believe support is on holiday for a bit. The first thing to do in any situation where Webflow is behaving oddly is-

  • Disable any big chrome extensions expecially ad blockers, try again
  • Switch to a Chrome incognito window, with no extensions and no cached data, try again
  • Consider trying a different machine on a different network

All web apps suffer from the fact that a lot of the connection between the server and the user is not under their control, and caches, proxies, routers, firewalls, browser extensions all change the game.

For anyone else experiencing this issue, check the Tax ID field.

I had entered a foreign (Norwegian) Tax ID, and got the same error message. I cleared the field, and the update was then successful.

Oddly, the tax ID still remains in the account screen, even if it’s cleared from the payment details screen when updating them.
