I have a potential client looking for an ecommerce where you can order goods without the goods being shipped or paid for via the website. The client operates a store that sells fresh meat and therefore has no ability to ship goods to the customer. The customer must therefore meet in the store to pick up the goods, and thus pay for the goods in the store.
Is it possible to get this with Webflow Ecommerce? Does anyone have any thoughts about this?
I see that it is not possible to delete shipment or payment from the Webflow checkout, but I discovered that it is possible to put Display none / hidden. Will this be a good workaround?
It sounds like you are requesting these options on checkout:
Check Payments
Cash on Delivery
Meaning you would just get an Order Form generated by the customer from the user with their request, contact info and address. This would be good to have for webflowâs e-commerce.
Have you tried setting the prices to $0.00 and see if that works? Their account wouldnât be charged maybe?

Hi I have been asking for an option in payment where you can set up a manual option. That could be used for Cash on Delivery, Swish ( Sweden), Wips (Norway), Bill to customers and more.
Currently, you canât have Checkout completed without a Shipping Info added and Shipping Method selected.
That said, you can create whatever Shipping Methods you would like in the Ecommerce Shipping Settings. So you could certainly create a âfreeâ shipping method with any name or description you want (such as in-store pickup).
You cannot have a working checkout without credit/debit card payment right now, however.
We are planning on supporting selling products that do not require shipping at all in the future (such as digital goods, donations, etc.). And we may provide more options around offline payments as well.
I would encourage you to add and vote for these ideas in our Wishlist, to help rally support from the community and help us prioritize them!

Does it mean I canât use"cash on delivery" option at customer checkout? For example, I am living in a not supported country for Stripe and I donât have a Stripe account. Can I still use the e-commerce feature of Webflow with âcash on deliveryâ type of checkout (where there are no payments happening in the website)?
You are correct â right now you canât use a âcash on deliveryâ type option with our existing checkout flow.

I have a similar request to a feature that @Sven_Erik_Slattedale is describing. I want users to have accounts, search and/or browse products, and add them to their cart. However, unlike normal e-commerce situations, I donât want the prices to be displayed, or for there to be a purchase or shipping at the end of the experience.
Iâm in the process of designing the UX for a clientâs new website where they will have lots of products displayed. I want users to be able to go through the selections and add them to a place that saves their selections so that they can go back to it and retrieve it at a later time (like when theyâre face-to-face with a salesperson).
The site is going to be for a building supply company. They want to show product selections on their site without prices displayed. They want customers to examine aspects of the products and spend time making selections at home so that when they step into the store and speak with the myriad of helpful, knowledgeable, friendly salespersons they will mostly know what they want even before they walk into the brick and mortar store. They will order and pay for the item(s) through the salespersons in the physical store.
A Foxy rep posted above that this could be done through them so Iâm going to check that out to see if itâs going to be a viable option. In the meantime, Iâll petition Webflow via the wishlist system.

If your store is on Test Servers, we can temporarily enable the PO option so you can test things. Just send a quick email to hello@foxycart.com.

Thank you for your feedback. The standard plan ($20/mo or $180/yr) allows for unlimited transactions. We just charge a .5% transaction fee (with a cap of 15 cents) for anything over your first 100 transactions each month. Our pricing is less expensive than most ecommerce platforms (even Webflow Ecommerce).

Just responded to your private message. Setting up the no payment option should only take a couple-few minutes. The key thing is getting your products setup in Webflow CMS and building out your add to cart form. Of course, we can walk you through each step.
