Deadline for updating DNS - client won't update in time

I have a client who’s dragging their feet in regards to updating their DNS records for the 3rd Nov deadline. Does anyone know what happens if the don’t update in time? Can they update the DNS after the deadline?

All the Webflow help pages only explain that this must be done before the deadline, but doesn’t really cover what happens if they don’t?

Yes, they can still update after the deadline — but the site will be temporarily down until they do

I dont find the article right now but I read that the website will still be online but you just cannot publish any changes until you update the DNS.

We have an entire workspace with a slew of sites in it for which they haven’t even notified us that the DNS updates are ready. The Nov. 3rd deadline has already passed so not sure what’s going on. We have other workspaces for which we’ve updated the DNS settings.

Same, the Nov 3rd deadline was apparently just the first batch of migrations. Support says not to do anything until the migration email is received.
