Update DNS Records – only one A Record?

Hi All!

Just a quick question concerning the new DNS Settings we have to adjust due to 3.11.2025
They say, we have to change the A Records IP and the CNAME.

But, initially I had to setup two A Records? Which one to change? Or should I delete the other one, so that there is only one in the end?

Hi there,

Webflow is updating its DNS infrastructure with the following migration deadlines:

  • Non-Enterprise customers: November 3, 2025
  • Enterprise customers: December 15, 2025

Please wait for notifications in your Webflow Dashboard before making any DNS changes. Updating records too early could disrupt your published site.

When you receive the migration notification, you’ll need to make these DNS updates:

  1. Edit the existing A record (hostname @) to: 198.202.211.1
  2. Remove the other A record completely
  3. Update the CNAME record (hostname www) from proxy-ssl.webflow.com to cdn.webflow.com
