So I have a question. I currently own a CMS site plan which limits me to 30 cms item fields. Will the business site plan still have 30 item fields or does it double or something? Can’t find anything about that except forum posts from years ago. Might be just me being dumb though.

You are correct that upgrading to the Business Hosting plan will allow you to create up to 60 fields per collection. To see the official documentation on this, click the “Show Full Comparison” link below the hosting options from within the project settings page.
This is out of date - I have the CMS subscription and I am being limited to 6 fields/collection

If you’re not seeing that then you likely have something breaking the designer- most often a browser extension like an ad blocker, but could be a corrupted browser cache.
