Hello,
I have a problem because I bought the wrong plan. I’m currently starting my own business and was excited about Webflow. I also bought the eCommerce plan and later discovered that I needed another plan (I’m still not sure which one. I think it’s Basic). I was then shown the “Core” plan, and I bought it.
I had already written to the accounting department that I had bought the wrong plan and asked them to please reverse it, but I haven’t received any response. And I think I need Basic instead of Core.
Can someone please help me?
firstly, to understand what I just bought (in layman’s terms) and whether it’s comparable to Basic.
secondly, to get in touch so that one order can be reversed and I can purchase Basic.
Thank you so much for your help!
Matthias
UPDATE: I reached the support and I know that core and ecommerce are the right plans for me. Basic and ecommerce don’t go together.
Only Webflow support can help but I think there’s a link in the support portal specifically for cancellations and refunds that might help you. If not, open a ticket with the chatbot to have a support agent help you.
A few basics;
Workspace plans are for building sites, as a designer, before you add a site plan. They’re most relevant to freelancers and agencies who are building sites for others. Without a workspace plan, your capabilities on each site you’re building will be limited until you add a Site plan.
Site plans are for hosting individual sites. You need one for each, and they allow you to add a custom domain, and activate specific features like CMS, eCom and localization.
Core is a Workspace plan (mainly for team/project access), while Basic is a Site plan for hosting a single site with a custom domain. Had a client mix these up once , support reversed it quickly through the refund request form in the Help Center, so that’s the best route.
Thanks to all - now I reached the support (yesterday I couldn’t reach it, help-center was down I guess) and now I know that the core-plan with the ecommerce-plan was the right decision.
Basic-Plan and ecommerce don’t go together.
I’ve already had a similar experience, which was really confusing. I’ve submitted a support ticket for this, and I hope the Webflow team can resolve the issue and process a refund. Our site is almost ready to launch, but we can’t connect our custom domain because of the wrong plan.
We should have chosen a CMS Site Plan, not the Workspace Plan.
