Okay, am I the only human that is struggling getting Analyze to work? Haha, I setup for a client, and did everything from the one page of information Webflow provided. But what I find more frustrating, is that there is no information anywhere on Webflow Analyze. How has no one made videos on youtube on how to use, setup, review. Does anyone have information or pointers? Webflow… Also funny that it is called “Analyze” as a product, but then location to see is called “Insights”… Just seems like a mess.
Since there isn’t any basic version of Analyze included, and most clients are used to e.g. Google Analytics ( which is free ), it’s very difficult for designers to see, experiment with, and even recommend Analyze to clients.
These are more pricing/plan issues rather than tech issues, but it is strangling adoption of the feature.
Are you having a specific issue with setup? I’d click the tracking tab and make sure your site’s public domains are added. Can’t guess more than that.
It’s because both Analyze and Optimize are under the same “tab” at the top left of the designer.
Thank you for your reply! I appreciate your help. In the tracking tab there is a section titled “Allowed Domains” and it shows grayed out of all my published domain name, and toggles next to them saying “Off/On” But I am unable to toggle them on or off. When I try and add a domain to that list that is the main domain it gives me an error because it is already added.
In all tutorials, including the image on Webflows info page, this sections isn’t in it. Assuming this is the issue, but it wont let me add anything in there, or change those to “on”.
That makes sense with the “Insights” having two categories inside, thanks for the wisdom!
I’d recommend contact you support- there’s very little that the community can do to help with Analyze or Optimize especially since they’re paywalled and few use them regularly.
Support should be able to resolve the problem or recommend a solution that will work for your analytics needs.
