Website loading too long but testing apps say its fast

Hello everyone,

i just published my website and there is about 4-5 sec. loading time and i have no idea why…

I am using VWO split url test, but their help center said that it is not possible the website loads slow because of it. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

One thing that would help is going through your images and minimizing them as much as possibly. I see one svg file that is 1.27 mb.

Thanks for your reply, but that still does not really help the 5-second delay with the white-only screen… Also, the loading of “ochrana osobních údajů” in the footer takes the same 5-ish seconds to load, and it does not contain a single asset

I tried disabling javascript and the page load was instant. Not sure I can see if you have anything additional that might be bogging it down.

I would try turning off interactions, see if that fixes it and then start turning them on 1 by 1.

Also see if you can do some of the interactions with hover styles vs webflow interactions.

Also, try removing the hero video to see if that is the issue (29mb).
I use https://www.videosmaller.com/ to compress my videos. Without changing the video I was able to get it to 6.8mb

Thank you for your reply, i noticed way too late:) Turns out i was an “antiflicker” that was caused by Google Analytics.
