Lately I have been researching about Webflow e-commerce and had a few concerns.
Context - My client is selling a physical product from India to Europe and the US markets primarily.
Payment integration - I read that you can’t really accept payments in India if you just have a basic e-commerce plan. So, Is using a plus or advanced plan a must? Or could I integrate it with some third party plugin and continue using the basic plan to receive payments at all?
Shipping - Once I receive an order, then how do I proceed? How do I manage/automate shipping from India to international markets? How do I print labels and stuff?
Would appreciate if someone from the Webflow team can answer these questions since I am quite sure many other Webflow users in India might have these questions as well. Also, if anyone from India have tried Webflow e-commerce
@foxy I read about your tool somewhere and not sure about what exactly it does. Would you mind to take a look at the questions and see if you could help?
Hi @MK778.
Thank you for getting in touch. Foxy is an ecommerce platform that can be added to your existing Webflow site. If you have multiple products to manage, we recommend using Webflow CMS (which means you can downgrade from a Webflow Ecommerce plan and save money).
We integrate with 100+ payments methods, some of which support merchants in India: Payment Methods | Foxy.io
Foxy provides powerful shipping functionality to handle just about any need. We offer print friendly web receipts. Also, we have multiple shipping integrations (as well as Zapier) to help with fulfillment, label printing, and more.
More info can be found here: Webflow | Foxy.io Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any follow up questions or need help getting started: hello@foxy.io
Hi @MK778.
Happy to help. If you have just one product to sell, you don’t even need a Webflow CMS plan. No matter what, you don’t need a Webflow Ecommerce plan.
Looks like the following support merchants in India:
2Checkout
Adyen
BlueSnap
CCavenue
Ogone
PayPal
There may be more. Info on our shipping functionality can be found here: v:2.0:shipping [Foxy Wiki] Please let us know if we can help with anything else.
@MK778 from what I understand is that you keep your product and category pages in WF, but you lose the design of the checkout, order confirmation and order e-mails to customers. I am still looking for an ecommerce platform where I can easily rebuild my WF checkout & order confirmation designs.
Hi @MK778.
Sorry for the super late reply. Somehow we missed your post notification. Foxy moves with you, so it doesn’t matter where your site is hosted or what CMS you’re using.
It’s more about how you manage your product data (if that’s even needed) and ensuring that your Foxy add to cart forms/links are properly setup.
