Webflow Desktop App for Mac

Webflow does not offer a Mac app. There is a solution at present that is entirely free. Other posts have been shared about this solution. This one is using the service of nativefier. The source code and information is available on Github, if you perform a quick search. In sum, if you have homebrew installed it is dead simple.

Webflow Mac Desktop App?

what would be the reason for doing that?

The main reason is to avoid distractions from the browser, in my case Chrome.

Using the app allows better usage also with my system to allow increased focus on working with Webflow.

Yep, all of the above. I really dislike using daily web apps in actual browser windows/tabs — having them occupy their own space in my Dock helps me isolate them from all the other noise (as well as attach a hot-key to launching them, which I’ve been doing for two decades to jump around my system more quickly). A native version of Webflow would be great, though Chrome also lets you do this with any web page, so I’ll use the latter until the former exists.
