Webflow > Airtable best deals

Hi there, my name’s Stephan, i really would like to do a webflow e-commerce website with the physical book inventory database i’ve made with Airtable.
My idea is to do this: add a new article in Webflow once i’ve made a new record in Airtable and checked an “online” checkbox. So logically i can create a view in airtable called “online” that will need the mandatory fields/datas for the best compatibility between both solution. My prior sync is from Airtable to Webflow.

  • I’ve tried Nobull which is free and works great for adding CMS content like blog content but is not working with the Webflow e-commerce (or i’ve made a mistake) module.
  • I’ve seen that Whalesync is available for connecting Webflow e-commerce and Airtable but it costs 99$/ month → https://youtu.be/MpnTobmBNkM?si=jhoEk3TBd1EdUNJv
  • I’ve seen it is possible to use Make or Zapier but it’s expensive too.
  • I’ve seen than Weblow Logic technology can link apps but it seems Webflow can only send datas with Logic not receive some

So what are your best advices ?

Best regards.

Stephan

Hey @stephan_mallavergne, check out CMS Bridge by Finsweet CMS Bridge by Finsweet, maybe it is a better fit for your project.

Also check out Power importer pro, I believe it’s Airtable → Webflow CMS and quite a bit cheaper than Whalesync.

Hey Pablo,
CMS Bridge seems to be an upgrade of Nobull with a price plan, but it’s not available yet.

Hi @stephan_mallavergne.
Josh with Foxy here. We’ve got lots of experience with data syncing tools. Please see my feedback below:

  • PowerImporter: Affordable, but after they changed owners, there were more outages, slow response to issues, bugs, etc.
  • Whalesync: A bit more expensive but customer support and service is solid.
  • Nobull: Free, but a bit clunky. You have to keep it open in the browser to sync data. Also, there’s nothing stopping Finsweet from dropping the product without any notice.
  • Zapier/Make: Depending on how much data you have, you could easily burn through many runs/zaps. Also, there’s a lot of room for error here.
  • Byteline: New option in the industry. Support and service is super solid. Various price plans, depending on your needs.

If data syncing is an important part of your business, whoever is handling that needs to be solid and dependable. If you’re still undecided, we’d recommend Whalesync or Byteline.

Here to help if you have any follow up questions.

Thanks,
Josh
