Tablet/mobile layout dimensions are inaccurate

My tablet is 2560 x 1600px, but strangely my website registers it as needing the mobile portrait mode when in portrait mode. I’m confused as the webflow editor preview shows tablet mode as counting for screens as small as 768px. My tablet is more than double that width, and it still shows the mobile version of my website. Why is this?

It would be helpful if you could provide the device and OS info for debugging this issue.

Sure! I’m using a Huawei Mediapad M5 tablet running android 8.0.0 and the latest version of Google Chrome.

Not a device I am able to test. This was a close as I could get.

Here is information about Webflow breakpoints.

That is the mobile portrait version of the website, so it is indeed behaving how I was saying in the post.

It is most likely a tablet landscape not mobile portrait version (they are pretty similar). The way your tablet handles its resolution varies and for better legibility many tablets make use of a forced narrower pixel width. Same with the phones.
