Switch to workspaces: Different pricing

Hi community,

if you switch to the new “Growth Workspace plan” as an existing customer, you pay more than before and it seems more than new customers. Unfortunately, Webflow does not communicate this in any way. The new prices are also difficult to find on the website. Only when I asked was I given a discount and excused myself from the fact that A/B tests are currently being carried out. I can only say that I am absolutely disappointed with this approach and I find it absolutely unbelievable to apologize with A/B testing. I hope this policy is changed immediately.

Thank you so much for your message about different pricing being presented on your project’s Billing tab and Check-out modal compared to what is shown on Webflow’s pricing page.

We are aware of these pricing differences as we are currently conducting an A/B test on the check-out page, meaning that some customers may see alternate prices during check-out compared to what is shown on Webflow’s pricing page.

We sometimes conduct these sorts of tests to help us make informed decisions on how to best serve our community as we plan for the future.

I can assure you that these alternate prices are merely part of the test, and your credit card will be charged according to our current pricing as listed on Webflow’s pricing page :arrow_upper_right:.

When check-out is completed, a success screen with the actual amount paid will be shown, and you can also navigate to the Billing tab in your project’s settings to further confirm that you have paid the current price.
For any and all pricing changes, Webflow will always communicate directly to our customers.

We apologize for any confusion caused, and I hope you find this information reassuring.

Legacy, and Workspace transition

I have reviewed your account, and it shows you’re on a Professional Account Plan (which you also showed in your screenshot). You also have a CMS SIte Plan for “werner-steuern”.

The Professional Account will be transitioned to the Growth Workspace plan.

I took a deeper look into the discount part, and I see there’s no discount there so you can retain the Professional Account price of $42 / month, instead of $60 / month for the Growth Workspace plan.

So what I did here was, I have applied a discount manually from our backend that will carry-over when your account is migrated to Workspaces.

Your discount will provide for $18 of the price of the monthly Growth Workspace for the first seat. This will mean that your monthly payment will continue to be $42.

Please note that any additional seats added to the Growth Workspace will be billed at the regular rate of $60.

Terms of the discount:
Webflow reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to terminate, discontinue, or otherwise modify the Discount or any promotional discounts offered for grandfathered Pro plans or any other promotional program. Your Discount may only be redeemed once and is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, credit, or towards previous purchases. There is no cash alternative. Furthermore, your Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotional discount. Your Discount is not applicable to any other legacy plans, or new Workspace plans. For the avoidance of doubt, you will no longer be eligible for the Discount upon the occurrence of any of the following: (1) deactivation (churn) and/or reactivation of your Webflow account; (2) default or non-timely payment of applicable fees; (3) upgrade, downgrade, or any change from a Workspace plan to any other plan (Core, Enterprise, etc.); (4) Increase or decrease seats under your Webflow account; (5) change of account payment frequency (e.g., from monthly to annual, or vica versa); or (6) breach by customer or anyone under its account of Webflow’s Terms of Service.

Additional information about the migration to Workspaces:

  • We are currently in the process of migrating all accounts over to the new Workspaces accounts in phases throughout the first part of 2022.
  • Please note that we are unable to request for an account to be migrated earlier.
  • When your account’s phase is ready for migration you will be notified via email and in Dashboard notification and will have up to 90 days to choose to opt-in to the migration.
  • After 90 days, your account will automatically be transitioned to Workspaces.

CMS Site Plan pricing

Your CMS Site Plan for “werner-steuern” pricing will be staying the same at $20 / month. That’s not changing.


Total Amount of charges

“Can you please tell me how much I have to pay in total (including 1 CMS plan)?”

==> The total charge will be $62.

The breakdown:

Professional Account Plan = $42 / month
CMS Site Plan = $20 / month

Total charge = $62 / month
