I dont know how to get the domain over to Webflow so I can host on Webflow and take the site live. I am a noob, it is true 
Could someone point in the right direction of enlightenment?

Have you checked you site’s settings under Hosting?
There are links for you to understand everything and even advices onhow to make your registrar do it for you… (well, I don’t think that works with Godaddy). Have a look!
Yes now I see just a green screen at my domain that says the site is no longer parked with godaddy. I see the domain in my webflow and it says it is published but nothing shows up

were you able to follow these instructions available for setting up your Webflow site following these instructions for GoDaddy? Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours to propagate your updated settings.
