So, I made a website a few months ago, and I had some problems searching for it. So, my website should be first when I type “Media Castle” on a Google search. But when I search for that term, my website comes up on the 5th page, but when I search for “mediacastle.net”, it comes up first, as it should when I type in “Media Castle”.
I don’t want to write a novel, and probably I won’t be able to explain it well. I’ll just upload a screenshot, and you’ll probably know what the problem is. I need to change this “mediacastle.net” part to “Media Castle”.
Hi Machko, Im not a SEO expert however there few bits you can improve and research. The name media castle might be hard to rank however it shouldn’t be on the 5th page. I would suggest looking into these bits to see if the backend of the site is SEO-optimised. Also if you can share your read-only link and I can check the “mediacastle.net” issue for you.

Make sure Google Search Console has indexed all your pages via the sitemap
Make some GEO pages on the areas you are trying to target
The easiest way is to run some Google Ads. You may not need to run them long, or you may not even really need to run them at all, but Google favors the Adwords configuration data in setting this value.
I’ve tried other mechanisms to indicate the Organization name such as JSON+LD and Google has never picked it up.
I installed the extension for SEO, and it says that I am missing the author, publisher, and keywords. I don’t have an idea of how to add that. I tried to find something about that on Google, but it just confused me even more.
Added robots.txt. I can find it at mediacastle.net/robots.txt, but the extension says that it is missing.
Also for heading 1. I have only one, but there are three spans inside, so it counts as three plus the main one, I guess.
Anyway, is there any way for me to change the title that I screenshotted? When I type Facebook on Google, for example, they have “Facebook” there as expected. But in my case, it says mediacastle.net instead of only Media Castle.
But does the part that I marked on my screenshot, that “mediacastle.net” text, have any impact on my search results? I didn’t put that as my title anywhere, or maybe that’s the problem and I should’ve put some title somewhere so Google wouldn’t use my domain as a title?
As I said already, the part I marked on your screenshot is the organization name. Google picks it up if you are using Adwords, and that’s the ONLY way I’ve seen Google allow you to set that value reliably.
Without that information it defaults to your domain name, as you see in your screenshot.
Hey, can you send me some screenshots of your Site Settings? This problem has never happened for me before
Moreover, regarding this:
“I installed the extension for SEO, and it says that I am missing the author, publisher, and keywords. I don’t have an idea of how to add that. I tried to find something about that on Google, but it just confused me even more.”
You can set the same like this:
(Although the Meta Keywords tag is kinda extinct now, I still use it though)
