Hello, i’m fairly new to this so sorry if this seems to be a dumb question.
I’m currently working with a form and receiving submissions is working fine. I was wondering though if there was some way for webflow to send a custom email out to the user? For example, the form will ask for an email, and on submission, an email will be sent to that user’s email?
Yes, it is possible using a 3rd party email automation platform such as mailchimp. You will need to configure your form to send the submission from Webflow to mailchimp, and then configure mailchimp to do whatever you need (like sending an auto email to the user)
@avivtech is right about this, you can use 3rd party automation platforms for this such as MailChimp. You can also look into Zapier integrations for this, you get some nice features with the following integration between Webflow and Email by Zapier to customise the email notification and use all fields that have been entered via the form.
For more info on integrating Zapier to your Webflow site, check this link:
Hi @avivtech, is there a way to recognize what URL the form was submitted from and then build a dynamic email based of off that piece information?
I just started looking for this and maybe it’s a straight forward thing, but it’s just one of those things that I need to find out before making the decision to move to Webflow from Shopify.
