I am trying to make use of the custom action post action on Webflow, as demonstrated in this tutorial. I am using a newsletter software called “sendinblue”. The form submit works fine. However, every time I submit the form, instead of staying on the page as I would like to, the submit button redirects me to an empty page from sendinblue. It also doesn’t change into the success message on the webpage – I am not sure how to change that.
I have tried leaving the redirect URL empty or change it into a different page, to no avail.
I think I found out what’s going on here. Probably too late for you, but might be relevant for future cases. I had the the same problem and the way to change this is to edit the form settings in sendinblue itself.
You probably activated double-opt in in the form settings for GDPR compliance, which leads to the empty site after submitting the form. I activated the default confirmation page that sendinblue offers and then this page was being shown instead of the empty page. In sendinblue you can also set up a redirect to a URL of your own page which might lead to a better experience for your user.
Hi! I know this is a while ago but I have the same problem. I was trying to get a code snippet from sendinblue that I can add to my webflow form settings (like in the webflow tutorial with Mailchimp) but SIB support isn’t helping at all. Did you find a solution? Frank
