I’ve published my site and it works immediately to ‘staging’.
I publish to the domain and the old version is not replaced. (i’ve teken this site over).
The system message says ‘published’ and the domain looks set up ok.
Cleared cache and tried another browser - what should i try next?
On the surface everything looks fine, no reverse proxy caching etc - but I’m definitely seeing an old date in your generated HTML.
Standard practice would be to Unpublish that domain then republish it, but that’s risky… if there is something preventing a successful publish, your site will be down.
I’d probably contact support first.
Unrelated, there is a JS error you may want to fix.
Have you checked your caching settings? Sometimes your browser or the server itself might be caching the old version of your site. Try clearing your browser cache and hard reloading the page (usually Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). You can also try purging the server cache if your web host offers that option.
Have you checked your DNS settings? If you recently took over the site, it’s possible the DNS settings haven’t fully propagated yet. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect globally.
Have you reviewed your publishing process? Double-check the steps you’re taking to publish your site. Make sure you’re publishing to the correct location for your live domain.
