Hello. I recently had the issue where customers were not able to add a product to their cart, getting the error “Product not available in this quantity.” I found the forum post about Web Payments (Enabling Web Payments (Apple Pay) means I cannot add products to my cart **UPDATE W/ FIX + BUG REPORT**), and disabling web payments did fix the problem. However, I had not published the site in the past 4 days, nor was I messing around with the products, and have had other orders between then and now. So I’m not sure what caused the problem. The customer that reported the problem to me was a first time visitor as well. I am currently leaving Web Payments disabled. The site is savvyjackwax.com. Thanks for any help!
I appreciate your looking into it. I haven’t done anything to resolve the issue, and don’t even know if it still remains. I just turned web payments off and left it off because I wasn’t sure what was going on. I wasn’t aware of the problem until someone told me they were experiencing it, and so I don’t know how I can be aware whether it’s occurring or not.
Thanks for the heads up. I was also experiencing this bug. Are you saying the issue with the mobile cart crashing the designer is linked to the web payments error that affected adding products to the cart?
I am not sure of that issue. I would reach out to @johnramos or @rileyrichter on this matter further as they are able to see those bug reports and get better clarification than I can.
Hi Riley. I’ve just left Web Payments disabled. I’d like to reenable it, but I havent gotten any indication of what the problem was, or if it has been resolved. Since I don’t know what caused it, I dont want to reenable Web Payments just to have it occur again without my knowledge.
I also had this message coming up and I think it had to do with the deleting a product from the store which was previously added in the cart at a site visitor. So the message is popping up because there was a “Ghost” product added in the cart which was not available anymore. (I think i did read this somewhere or I think thats what it was.
My solution was to delete the browser cache and then it worked again.
Thanks Jan. Ya that was mentioned in another forum post. I did have a ghost product in the cart, the difference is that I hadn’t deleted or modified any products, so I don’t know what could have caused it…
