GSC is very OCD and easily confused.
I’m going to guess that you have the www. version set as default, which is correct for SSL, but which causes a redirect for your non-www URLs.
I’d probably re-register your GSC property as a domain property, so that it recognizes both www and non-www as belonging to the same property.
Then submit your sitemap as https://www.aamechanics.com/sitemap.xml
A lot of that redirect confusion should clear out on the new property.
