Member login - Member Database and filtering

Hi Webflow Wizards,

I’m seeking your advice on the best way to approach the following.

We’ve been asked to rebuild an existing website that contains a large amount of member data, and I want to check if what they’re requesting is feasible within Webflow.

Here’s a brief overview of the required functionality:

  • Member login/sign-up (Memberstack?)
  • Importing existing member data (screenshot attached - 1,500 current members)
  • Creating new members with data storage (screenshot attached)
  • Search and filtering options for logged-in members to find and connect with specific people (e.g., pilots and other members)
  • A history log showing who has viewed a member’s profile

Please reach out if I have been unclear in any way.

Your advise would be very much appreciated!

Cheers,
Dennis

Hey Dennis!

You could accomplish this with Webflow, Make, and Memberstack together - here’s a free template for public member profiles which could be a great starting point for you.

Along with that, you can use Finsweet Attributes to create a searching function like what you’ve sent.

As for the history log, you may need to get a bit creative with custom JavaScript and Make webhooks, but it will certainly be possible.

Best of luck!!

Hi Julian,
Thank you for the info, much appreciated!
Do you by any chance know if the following is possible as well?

  • Include a client dashboard where they can upload personal content via a form or portal that would update the CMS of the main site.

Thank you!

No problem at all!!

Yes it is! How you would go about that depends on exactly what you’re trying to accomplish, but it could involve Memberstack custom fields, or maybe not! Whatever it is, it will definitely need Make (or Zapier, but I recommend Make)!

Stuff like this is what we often talk about in the Memberstack Slack Community!

If you ask any question like this specific to your use case, you’re likely to get (free) help from a member of our team, an expert, or just another community member like you who’s already done it!
