Margin Bottom with absolute positioning

I have trouble setting the margin bottom when I use absolute positioning fixed at the bottom.
Theoretically when I set a padding of 20px i should only see this at the end of the site.

However as u can see here on the site Home and About, if you scroll there comes more margin.

I don’t see why.

Can anyone help?
