LinkedIn is not recognizing the set og image

Any update on this? I’m having the same issue. LinkedIn uses some random image on the page as the share image, even when I manually add an og:image meta tag in the custom code section and use their Post Inspector. The analogous Facebook Share Debugger has no such issue.

This is a major issue though because it affects how people view and share our business.

I’m not sure if anyone needs to hear this, but Linkedin does not support webp image files. (I know if you use SEO tools it will recommend that file type, but I think it is actually not widely supported for og:images). Added a png feature image back in fixed my problem.
