Issue with indexing after site publishing

Hello,

I’m having some issues with indexing my new site on Webflow. I have a pretty decent understanding of SEO, but this problem is new to me and I’m not sure how to solve it.

  1. Original website was built on Wordpress. Domain hosting is currently on GoDaddy.
  2. The Google Search Console property was set up using the non-www URL, “https://kararenninger.com”.
  3. Switching over to Webflow, I had to make the “https://www.kararenninger.com” the default publishing URL.
  4. I made sure to set up the proper canonical tag URL, + ensured my site’s auto sitemap generator was set to on.
  5. Google Search Console is accepting my sitemap, but it’s having issues with my robots.txt and won’t index my website, because it’s looking for the non-www version of the site, even with the steps followed on the back-end.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue and resolved it? All explanations online are telling me different things, It’s driving me crazy. I’m worried about performance dips and I want to get this fixed as soon as possible. Do I need an entirely new Search Console property?
