Issue with domain when update to cdn.webflow.com

Hi Webflow Support,

I received the migration notice saying I need to update my DNS records before November 3, 2025. My site currently uses Cloudflare, and I noticed that Webflow’s new setup instructions suggest adding a CNAMErecord for @ pointing to cdn.webflow.com.

However, Cloudflare shows an error saying “A CNAME already exists with that name” because I already have A records for @ (75.2.70.75 and 99.83.190.102).

Could you please confirm whether it’s still correct to keep my two A records for @ and only update my wwwCNAME to cdn.webflow.com (DNS-only), and set www.mydomain.com as the default domain?

I just want to make sure my domain will stay connected and not be affected after the November 3, 2025 migration deadline.

Thank you!

You need to remove the @ A records and the existing www record, and give the new entries that Webflow specifies both for the @ and the www.

That’s Webflow’s O2O configuration, I use it as well. Note the dashboard might show warnings but you’re fine in that configuration.

Here is my new configuration in cloudflare and I make www.mydomain.com as default how can you recommend?

I’m unsure what you’re asking, and I cannot check your domain to see if you’ve set it up correctly.

But as I answered your question before, those two IP’s in your screenshot need to be deleted in the new configuration.

So, need to delete this two IP?

You’ll need to remove those two @ records completely.

The only ‘A @’ record you need to have is Webflow’s.

Screenshot those two ‘A’ records if you’re uncertain, so you can add them back if anything goes wrong. Removing additional ‘A’ records fixed the same issue I had.

So If I remove those old two record and create new record it effect my website or not?

@memetican so I need to remove A record both IP? and add new CNAME

Type Name Target Proxy
CNAME @ proxy-ssl.webflow.com Proxied :cloud:
CNAME www proxy-ssl.webflow.com Proxied :cloud:

Dear @memetican and @kepfrozen my issue is fixed and it working fine now.

Thank you!

Resolve: Delete two old A records and add new CNAME @ www and Target: cdn.webflow.com
and go to dshboard=>sites=>publishing and remove domain then add new domain and fix txt and value that Webflow provided.
