I’m working on a Webflow site that uses CMS Collections, and I’d like to test some new Collection items before publishing them to the live domain. Is it possible to publish newly added or updated CMS items just to the staging version (the webflow.io domain), without pushing them live?
I’m hoping to preview how things look and function before making them public. Any help or clarification would be much appreciated!

Hi there,
There are two ways to publish your site to the staging subdomain (yoursite.webflow.io):
From the Designer:
Open Site settings > Publish, select only the Webflow staging subdomain checkbox, uncheck any custom domains, and click “Publish to selected domains.”
From the Editor:
Please note that publishing from the Editor will push changes to both the staging subdomain and any connected custom domains simultaneously. To publish only to staging, always use the Designer method described above.
