I want to individualize the text portion of a collection, but not sure how to go about doing this.

Sorry for the confusion, let me try and clarify. This site has the “services” collection and the inner text settings are connected to the “Short Service Descriptions” from the services collection. I want to change the copy on the inner text portion without it affecting all the copy. I tried turning off the “Get text from services” collection check box, but when I do that, while it does allow me to manually add text that text gets copied into all the other service descriptions.
Basically, I want to change the short services description text manually without it affecting every description in each category.
Ah in Webflow’s designer, when an element is bound to the CMS ( generally shows with a purple outline ), you can not edit its contents any longer on the designer canvas.
Instead you need to go into the CMS, and edit the content there.
Another option is to switch to the rich text editor mode that your clients use, you can edit it there as well.
