Thank you for the reply. I tried without the slash and unfortunately still got the same result
Thank you for all of your suggestions! I will give them a try and will definitely keep you updated!
Hello, thank you for the reply! I actually did not have a robots.txt at the time you sent your message. I just added one a few minutes ago for the first time.
Welp, it’s showing up in Bing and DuckDuckGo now. Google’s sure to follow.
Is this what did the trick?
The weird thing is that the sub pages like: about, contact, etc are showing up but the main page still won’t. When inspecting the URL I’m still getting the error message “The inspected URL is a redirect and cannot be indexed by Bing.” Can’t get around that for some reason.
Also, still no luck for any pages on Google, like you mentioned.
I did add a robots.txt and removed the canonical so thank you for that!
I’d find this to be odd as a fix as I know plenty of Webflow sites, first-hand, that have the exact opposite and get fully indexed (and rank) just fine. But, if it works, it works ![]()
That’s odd.
Did you try removing funky DNS from the equation? e.g. allowing your .webflow.io domain to be indexed?
Maybe give it another day or two, anything past that and somethings still wrong.
Looks like everything is now google on Bing! Was really happy to see my main page finally indexed there!
Still no progress on google but I will add more contact and pages to my site in hopes Google will then find the site valuable and worthwhile to index.
Thank you for all of your help! I will keep you updated when it’s finally indexed on Google
Looks like that is now working:
About a week later and @myfinancialpal it looks like you still do not have Google indexing you:
Have you tried anything else?
