Help with footer styling fixed/positioned to be at bottom of page

Hey guys,

Hope everyone’s doing great so far in the day!

Just had a quick question about my footer that I can’t seem to bring all the way down. It seems to be working for the mobile perspective but in the portrait, tablet and desktop view it always seems to be in the middle of the page.

Here’s what it looks like:

Here’s what I’d like it to look like that only works in mobile:

What I’ve tried so far is place the section right at the bottom of the body and clicked “absolute” with the “bottom” option selected.

I’ve read a couple of other related forum threads and applied what they’ve said but haven’t been able to fix it

Does anyone know the reason for why it won’t go to the bottom and what steps I should take to make it do just that?

Thanks so much in advance.

I see it at the bottom, what do I miss?

AHAHHAHAHAH

Sorry, the problem only occurs on my about page entitled “The He.Stays Project”

Here:

if you want to footer to be on the bottom:

  • give section 6 position:relative or auto
  • don’t give section five a height, put auto instead of 400px
