Hello, I have a project in which I have about 40+ different CMS Collections. Is it somehow possible to group the different collections into folders? I can’t find an option to add a folder and the grouping as with the variables (Group name/CMS collection name) doesn’t seem to work either.
Hello,
I understand your need to organize your CMS Collections more efficiently. Currently, Webflow doesn’t provide a direct option to create folders for organizing collections like it does for variables.
However, there’s a workaround you can use to achieve a similar result. You can employ a naming convention for your collections that includes a common prefix or suffix to group related collections together. For example, you could name your collections like “GroupA - Collection1”, “GroupA - Collection2”, and so on.
Additionally, you can utilize tags to further categorize and filter your collections. By assigning relevant tags to your collections, you can easily organize and access them based on specific criteria.
While these methods may not offer the same visual organization as folders, they can help streamline your workflow and make it easier to manage your numerous collections.
Let me know if you need further assistance or have any other questions.
Best regards,

Hello Sofia, thank you for your feedback. At the moment I’m doing it very similarly to what you suggested. However, it would be nice to have a folder. Even with this method it’s quite messy. Folders would be great, but it doesn’t seem to be possible.
Hii,
Got it, will look into better organization options despite the folder limitation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Hello Sofia, thanks for your offer, but I doubt you can help me in any way since it is Webflow that is limiting us with it’s functionality here.
