Directory structure for CMS

Hey, I’m bulding ans institutional site for my bussiness and I have three main categories for my content:

  1. articles
  2. videos
  3. podcasts

I noticed that I can create a page called content where it works as a hub for all content and inside a folder called content I can add the 3 categories pages getting a structure like:

But when I create I have the option to create a single content collection with a reference field to call for the categories or create 3 separeted colletcions (1 for each) I have no option to use the previous directory structure so i cannot create the following structure:

Did anyone find a way to solve this? I want to create a logical path for SEO purpses.

Regards

If content is a folder, you should be able to designate it as the parent folder for your video, article and podcast collections.

I’d make certain you haven’t put any static files in those folders and Webflow might then disable it as a parent option due to the potential path namespace conflicts.

Thanks! I found that in the templates sections not on the CMS.

But in that case I’ll need to create 3 CMS colletions 1 for each category so i can have multiple categories page onto a folder. Correct?

Correct, just as you’ve described, 3 collections = 3 paths.
