Form Count Reset Free Account

I self host multiple webflow site that rely on the 50 form submissions per month. They used to reset at the end of each month.

Under site settings > forms – the info message hasn’t changed, but once the date is reached it remains at 50 instead of resetting to 0 as it always did.

50/50 form submissions received this month (ending December 30, 2024) on Staged Hosting.

I’ve been using Webflow for 8 years, and the 50 total form submits on free plan sites has never monthly-reset to my recollection. It’s always been a total limit.

If you then upgrade the plan it will reset. No idea what would happen if that plan is then canceled after a month.

maybe it was a bug related to APIv1 bc once APIv2 was announced it stopped working it seems. I’ve been on a freelancer plan with multiple starter sites that would all reset to 0/50 at the end of the month – it worked this way for 2+ years.

Again, this is the notice I see which implies a reset.

Add a site plan to get more submissions

Idk if Webflow’s being inconsistent with its language or if “Staged Hosting” has different form limitation than a “Starter Site”

The 50 lifetime limit has been around since long before API v2.

I have quite a few cloneables that are on starter plans as demos for my tutorials. Many have forms, and people test them in Made in Webflow.
They’ve always stopped collecting submissions at 50. Once you clone the site, that’s considered a new site, on a new starter plan, with a new 50 lifetime submission limit.

My guess is you just never noticed, and yes the “50/50 form submissions received this month” is easy to read as a monthly allocation.
