Form Submission Count Reset

Hey all,

I read on Webflow’s website that the form submission counter resets each month. However, we’ve seen multiple instances in which the form count number in the automatically generated email shows a different number (e.g., 3/500) than the number of actual form submissions during the month (one).

Is there a reason why the form submission count number in the email differs from what is shown for the month in the Site Settings > Forms tab?

Thanks,
Adam

Are you using Logic? Logic executions also count towards form submissions.

If not, I haven’t heard anything but my first guess would be that it could be related to the SPAM system.

Good question. Logic is not being used. It’s from the standard form submission tool or element. I did not think about the Spam filter. It would make sense but would love to know if that’s where the actual difference is stemming from. Picture attached for reference.

I see 3/500 and your screenshot shows 3 submissions.

I think confusion here might be about the reset date- it may not be based on calendar months ( i.e. 1st of each month ), but instead the monthly rollover date for your site plan ( e.g. the 23rd ).

Sorry. I should have mentioned that it says 3/500 for the month (ending September 29) and the submissions from 9 and 10 days ago were definitely from the previous month (August). It would make sense it’s going off the billing cycle since September has 30 days and “this month” appears to run through September 29.
