hello out there,

this is my first forum post about my first webflow project :slight_smile:

I just finished my new portfolio page and want to ask you what you think about it.

I also want you to know that I like the way the webflow forum members are communicating. There is a lot of respect out there and that is not self-evident in internet forums :slight_smile:

@zackete_de Nice site for someone new! :grinning::blush:I will now focus on the critique of the website [ I will try my best not to sound harsh]. I enjoyed the layout although the site gives a sense of being boring. I would try to add more interesting text and icons. Also in the hero Section I would not have added that Div in the middle of the picture, in my opinion it makes the site look very heavy. Concerning colors I see the theme although I would prefer a much colorful oriented site since there are no pictures to make up for the white space. See what I did in my portfolio, I used not one image, though did a good job [in my opinion] playing with text and color and not having repetition, https://webflow.com/website/VLADinSACRAMENTO. Although overall a great simple site!

@VLADinSACRAMENTO Thank you for taking the time and walking through my website. I’m new to webflow, but not a newbie in terms of webdesign. Webflow makes it just easier and more comfortable for me :smile:

Thank`s for your review, too. All facts you mentioned are also in my mind. There will be some changes in future and I’ll remember your words.

I like the colors of your portfolio but I’m not a fan of the first animation. In my opinion it takes to much time, so I loose the patience to wait for it. But the card layout makes the site very clean. Thumbs up.

@zackete_de Thanks for the review and suggestion for site. I personally think the interaction is too slow [on the Hero section on my site] though I still want to portray that type of movement on my website, what I think I will do is maybe make it faster and a little simpler interactions wise.
