I have long wanted a search function in the Classes window. How can I find a class quickly and easily if I want to delete it?

There is a Style Manager which lists classes by creation and includes a link to display a popup that shows where a class is used. Give that a try.
I use browser dev tools on published sites to locate elements with a specific class quickly which works for me.
