Hi guys, I have a mystical problem with Favicon on a site I run. For some Safari users, it shows up in completely different colors and looks like some inversion of what it actually is.
What could be the problem? Chrome works fine.
I attach screenshots
The real colors are the black letter S on a light, beige background.
Hi @viktoria_a ,
I’ve just resolved an interesting issue with favicons and wanted to share the findings: Safari browsers do not support favicons in SVG format. To avoid any display issues, especially in Safari, it’s advisable to use other formats such as ICO, PNG, GIF, or JPG for your favicons. This little nugget of information might save you some time in your future web development endeavors.
