Facing issues applying a specific 'Rich Text' class to standardize my article designs in Webflow

Hello,

I’ve set up a page named RTE-ARTICLE to create a class called “Rich Text Element for the articles”. The idea was to standardize the design elements, like font and colors, across my articles. I’d just apply the class, and it should do the trick.

However, when I tried using this class on my newest article, something’s off. It doesn’t seem to work as expected. For example, the h2 headings are still black, not following the styling I defined in the class.

Has anyone run into a similar issue or have insights on how to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bonjour Larisa,

It’s a case of competing styles. If you have an H2 heading which you also apply a bold styling to, the bold styling will override aspects of the H2’s style. In this case, bold is making it black.
