Editor Display Bug when deleting CMS item

Hi there,

I’ve noticed a display bug in the editor (when you want to delete an item that is referenced elsewhere)
Here’s the screenshot :

Probably just some broken CSS reference…

Hi @pepperclip

Thanks for posting about this — it definitely looks like odd behavior.

Can you share the steps you took to see this error? When did it start occurring? Can you send me the site Read-Only links please?

Can you please try the following:

Could you also please let me know what browser version you’re using by sending me your information from this page?

There should be a small share link when you visit the page which you can send to me.

Any other screenshots or screen recordings of what you see are also helpful (CloudApp or Quicktime work well).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Brando,
Unfortunately I didn’t experience it firsthand. So my browser info etc are useless

Apparently it happened in the editor after trying to delete a collection item. The thing is, for this client, we use another collection with references to other ones as a dashboard that controls a sort of home page. I think the item was featured on the home page when he tried deleting this specific item (therefore another collection was referencing the item for display when the editor asked for the deletion of the item which lead to the screenshot error I just sent).

I hope these details might help

Hi @pepperclip

Thanks for the extra information.

It’s difficult to say what caused this as I’m unable to reproduce it on my end.

Is the issue still happening, or is your client unblocked from this?

They just deleted the item from the other collection referencing it before deleting the item in the actual collection containing the full content.

@pepperclip was your client able to get past this broken pop up modal? Or has the issue blocked their work?

Sorry for not answering properly before,
They found a way around it, so no worries.
