I am having issues with the editor option on my site. I have a collaborator who is trying to edit the code on the Contact WIP page but she is unable to do so. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Editor option meaning the content editor, or editor mode in the designer?
I’m actually uncertain off the top of my head whether code editing would be exposed to the editor role in either case, typically code is part of the design and needs to be protected.
The exception is code embeds that are placed within rich text content. If you need them to have access to specific code pieces that might be the best approach to use.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I added the user under SITE ACCESS > EDITOR ACCESS in the settings of the website. Doesn’t this make them an editor, they just can’t publish?
In the designer, edit mode does not have custom code access, you can see here at the bottom of the page under Limitations.
That makes sense to me, the point of an editor is to contribute to content without risk of damaging the site design, layout, style, functionality…
I believe editors can publish by the way, however you can restrict that under roles and permissions
