It seems to have gone quiet on the Ecommerce updates front…
Would be great to get some sort of update from the Webflow team in terms of timelines as we’re heading quickly to Christmas and all of the promised features will be super important for trading.
We didn’t really get any relevant info unfortunately… making it hard to justify sticking with the ecommerce platform over Shopify without an idea of timings for things like Paypal for instance
I was disappointed with the lack of ecom info as well. Have you tried using @foxy as this is a good replacement and can use PayPal as well as other features, plus it integrates very nicely with Webflow CMS!
I have been disappointed with Webflow’s feedback regarding Ecommerce. I have now seen dozens of people asking for basic features for two years now and all I have seen are empty promises with no real follow through. It seems Webflow is going in another direction. They should drop Ecommerce altogether (as it is essentially a gimmick, given its limited capabilities) and stop leading clients on. I have been using Webflow for 9 years now, and I am extremely disappointed with their staff on this one.

Hey @Chris_Allard, definitely understand your frustration that things aren’t moving as quickly as hoped! What functions are you looking for in particular? We are working on building features to supplement WF’s core functions and also working with their dev team to understand what features are most needed by the community. Any feedback toward that end appreciated!
Custom Product Fields. This should have been included upon release.
Offline payment method. There should be an option to fill out the order form without having to pay for those who want to set up quotes.
More expansive Checkout customizations. These as is, are very limited.
Test mode without activating. I read one person had their Stripe account permanently banned because they had to test live because Webflow doesn’t have this option.
Let people create membership accounts that will keep track of previous orders, billing information etc. (this may be included in the upcoming membership beta platform).
The ability to incorporate rental goods. Being able to integrate a calendar that effects the CMS of items (for instance the customer selects dates that they are renting. If all rentable items are currently being rented then that product will no longer be rentable for that time period and will be blocked off on the calendar).
Shipping prices per product, with the ability to segregate shipping to each product instead of the order as a whole. This is especially important for users who may have stock shortages on one item but are able to deliver another right away.
If you look here there are dozens of wishlist requests that have hundreds of people voting on.

@Chris_Allard thanks for sending - that’s helpful. We will take a look at your list. Off the bat I see a few things that I know are in the works either at Webflow or here at Monto! Will be in touch more soon too if you’re open to it.
