Hi,
I’m Neeve, I’m a graphic designer and illustrator and I’ve been flirting with the idea of making a website with Webflow since 2017, when Adobe announced they are going to discontinue Muse. After four or five failed attempts in the last few years, I finally got in the proper headspace and managed get my head around it, these last couple of days. However getting closer to publishing the project led me to the plans and pricing part of Webflow., and oh boy…I hope I am missing something because at the moment it seems kinda expensive. For this project in particular at least, as I don’t know what other web design work I might have this year.
I am currently creating a CMS driven website in Webflow. It’s basically a blog with posts and category filtering. From what I understand, the CMS part cannot be exported so I am forced to use their hosting plans.
Moreover the free Designer plan only allows 50 CMS posts and I will need more than that so I must also use their designer plans.
Does that mean that a creating and managing a simple blog on Webflow costs $384* per year?
Am I missing something and I make do without one of the plans?
Thank you,
Neeve
*$192 for the CMS hosting yearly plan + $192 for the CMS Designer yearly plan.
Do they have bundle prices for people who need both?
