Hello everyone, first post here.
I am having issues connecting my client’s address to the domain.
I have checked everything a thousand times and waited 24 hours so ALL of the DNS records point to the right thing, in this case Webflow.
Even contacted the support to check and everything seems to be in order.
The website on the address was previously hosted on Wix, and I did the redesign and development in Webflow.
If anyone can find any reason why this won’t work please let me know.
It’s the only thing left to finish the project and I really want to be done with it.
Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, did all that, even contacted the support to see and they said everything is entered correctly, even when you check the address you see correct information.
That’s why it’s so strange.
I’ll try the cache thing but I doubt it will change anything…
Could it be that because of the problems Webflow is having the pannel didn’t update correctly. I published the website and everything works super fine.
Both the link and the 301 when you dont type www.
SSL is fine, everything that should work is working.
Since you’ve confirmed that: Your domain is actually connected - the Webflow dashboard just isn’t reflecting the correct status.
Check the “Check Status” Button: In your screenshot, I see there’s a “Check status” button. Click this multiple times over the next few hours - sometimes it takes several attempts for the dashboard to sync.
Verify DNS Records Match Migration: Go to Site Settings > Publishing > Production and confirm the DNS records shown there match what you have set. Due to the DNS migration, you should check this section to confirm the correct DNS records for your specific site Manually connect a custom domain – Webflow Help Center.
Force Republish:
Unpublish from both domains
Wait 10-15 minutes
Republish to both domains
Check if status updates
Clear Dashboard Cache: Try accessing Webflow in an incognito window or different browser to rule out caching issues.
Since your website is working perfectly and DNS is verified correct, this is almost certainly a temporary dashboard display issue related to Webflow’s current DNS migration and recent platform problems. Your site is properly connected - you can proceed with confidence that everything is functioning correctly.
If the dashboard status doesn’t update within 24-48 hours, contact Webflow support again and mention the DNS migration timing, as they may need to manually refresh your domain status on their end.
