Hello all,
I have created a Collection but when I try to get the elements from it it does not allow me to select the fields I need. It always displays those 4 fields (from the photo I provided below). I do not even have those fields in my collection.
How can I solve this problem?

Those are style related fields you can bind.
Look above that for the data-related fields.
For a text element, for example, you’ll see a Text field with a little purple binding button that you can use to link it to a text field in your collection. You’ll see similar binding options for images, links, rich text elements, video elements…
That’s the point. Any field that I would add to the CMS “Activities” or any other CMS I create, only these 4 style-related fields show up. Even if I add fields like “image, switch…” Only the 4 in the screenshot appear as dynamic elements.

These 4 fields are not even in my Activities CMS. I don’t know where it comes from. Maybe that’s the default.

In your case, you’ve put everything inside of a component, and placed the component inside of the CMS, so you need to work at the component level;
Inside the component ( edit the master );
Outside of the component ( exit master editing mode )

Can I add on to this cause I think I’m having the same issue but I’ve not understood the answer, I’ve tried a few different things with the CMS collections them selves but no matter what I do I only see these options under the dynamic styles setting
Hi Warfa, this isn’t the problem Gabriel was having.
I’m guessing that you are trying to bind your rich text block to a rich text field?
Click the little purple binding dot next to the Content setting.
