Now, I have a client website that I host in my workspace. How can I transfer this out of my credit card to bill my client instead? Because I just billed this client manually for this year’s business plan renewal. It seems that I can only do so on Starter (free) plans websites only.
Hi Mark, yes that’s how I understand it.
You can do seamless site transfers with a working plan when the billing is already set to that client, which is established in their workspace.
However you cannot setup client billing on a site which already has a plan, you have to cancel yours first- which is complicated when you have e.g. Localization and add-ons.
I believe there are a few other things still being worked out as well from what I’ve seen in forum messages, such as the domain verification and possibly certain apps.
Have patience, I understand Webflow is watching closely and gathering initial feedback based on how people are trying to use the feature.
