Hi, is it possible to transfer a webflow site to a client after deploying it live?
Because I don’t want to be charged every year for the expenses of the client.
Thanks.

Quickest way would be to change the billing to the client’s credit card.
Alternative: making a duplicate of the site. Have the client start a Webflow account. Transfer that duplicate to them. Remove the domain from the existing site. Connect the domain to the duplicated/transferred site.
Made a duplicate and it was useful for this issue.
Wait, I’m confused… why wouldn’t you just use the ‘Transfer site’ feature? Would that cause some down-time of the site?
Thanks in advance, I feel like I don’t understand the question.
You can, but
OK wait I want to get this totally straight… I should NOT get the domain from my client and I should transfer my .webflow.io site to my client (duplicating it if I want to keep a record).
So they are responsible for setting up and paying for the site plan? Adding their domain, etc.
That makes sense. I guess I need to read more into the docs on transfers.
Again, another way to do it is leave the site in your Workspace and simply plug in the client’s credit card info for the hosting.
When using the site transfer method, I’m typically invited to their Workspace so that I can set up any connections like Adobe fonts, analytics, dns, etc.
