Current Issue
I’m trying to create a simple way to manage my dropdown menus using Collections within Webflow. I’ve had no issues creating the collections, with properties like: Label, Description, Icon, etc.. The problem I’m running into is around the page that it links to.
If you add a Link field in the CMS collection, then when creating the item, you need to hard code the URL for your page into the link field. This isn’t ideal obviously. Am I missing something?
It would be nice if you could have a single-reference field mapped to your Pages, then for the reference you could choose the page, then use that reference for your link in the menu.
Maybe there is a simple solution I’m missing, but hard-coding the menu link just doesn’t seem like the right solution – hopefully I’m just missing it!
