Best method for Updating clients existing projects

Hi, I would like to know what’s the best method when updating a clients existing site, do I get them to transfer their site to me (but they would have to un host) or do i get them to duplicate the site and send me the un hosted version but if I update the site and transfer back how will they add the new design to the hosted version, or is the best method is to just ask them for their sign in details and edit from their dashboard?

We always do it from their dashboard, since then you can also take over control of the editing process they go through. I would always duplicate the project before though…

makes sense, I can always duplicate their site and transfer to me to be added to my Webflow portfolio if need be. Thank you.
